Howdy all and thanks for stopping by. This blog is all about fun! And documenting my stay in the beautiful Monterey Bay on the California Central Coast. After living in Oakland for 20 *amazing* months, I lost all my money after having an emotional breakdown from a series of abusive and toxic jobs (goodbye career goals amirite?!) and was forced to move back into my childhood home. But wow, what a GORGEOUS hometown to herald from! I feel so #blessed to be welcomed back into my mom and dad’s house at the age of 31, where we can reconnect over boardgames, sharing chores, and having spirited discussions about repeatedly drawing firm boundaries and what the term “infantilizing” means haha!
I wish on all the stars above that I could sink my inquisitive teeth into reverting back into the helplessness of a child and experience this incredible coastal hamlet through the eyes of a closeted queer trans man one more time, but alas I have my work cut out for me! My journey begins February 1st as a full time resident of Monterey, and soon after I start my full time job chopping onions and washing dishes in a precious little local national Polynesian-inspired burger franchise.
